My lastest place of critique was the Capital Grille in Charlotte. Let me suggest you bring a sweater because it was cold. But when you go it may be alright since they will probably be warming it up inside since it's cooling down outside.
They use a sweet vinigerette on the steak and seal the flavor in with a type of crushed, almost to a powder, mushrooms and sear the outside of it which locks in the taste. It was quite different from other steaks which makes it unique. It was a tasty steak but I didn't like the mushrooms burnt on it because the burnt taste was heavy. But it was a good steak none the less. I give it a "GO GET IT" because of it's originality. Portion size was good as well. I suggest that you don't get the mushrooms on it because it probably would be a better steak without it. Some regular seasoning would make for a much more pleasant taste than burnt mushrooms.
